Hecla Provincial Park

I like Hecla.  It reminds me of the ocean; crashing waves, stoney and sandy beaches.

We were fortunate to enjoy Hecla this year with the Friesen’s.  The first evening we hurried off to Sunset Beach to take in the beauty and skip stones.  We have some experts in our midst, and some who just learned how to skip stones this weekend.

   Saturday morning we enjoyed a hike to the Lighthouse; look how cheery people are!

Sunday evening we were a few less people and we drove to the wildlife observation tower in the hopes of seeing a moose.  True to their nature, if there were moose feeding out there they were not visible to us.
