The End of Things

L played his last basketball game for the season on Friday.  It has been a great team to play with and befriend.  L is already hoping that next year would be the same coaches and the same team.  Apparently he isn’t really planning on quitting.

The city came by and cut down our elm trees Tuesday.  I guess we can’t lovingly refer to our home as Ingersoll Elms anymore.

That turned out alright though because the bank approved our financing the same day.  Call us crazy because despite the month we had with our last reno project  we just bought an older Victorian that will be a project for quite awhile to come.  We have looked seriously at several houses never finding everything that we wanted, so we are going to try to make this house all that we are looking for.  Unfortunately it means tackling some knob and tube wiring in our current house.

Simply Friday

Not sure whether I should entitle this post “I’m so Excited” or “Sigh with me in Relief”.  There are tools to collect, some junk to haul away and a few little bits here and there, but for the most part the house is ready to list.  We think it looks great, perhaps we will do this reno thing all again.
