L keeps on surprising us. A few days ago, on the way home from school, he volunteered that he had decided to present his (French) speech to his class. Every year, students compose a speech and, if they wish, they present their speeches to their classmates and then the teacher selects the best two to be presented in the gymnasium to the rest of the school. His speech, “Le Basketball,” was selected and today he presented it to the school. You can find a video here. Sorry, the audio is rather quiet (and be warned that halfway through the speech the school bell goes). Hope your French is better than mine.
